Farmers protesting against the three farm laws will hold a countrywide protest on Tuesday (October 26) to demand the sacking of Union Minister Ajay Kumar Mishra ‘Teni’. His son is an accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence in which eight persons, including four farmers and a journalist, were killed in October first week.
The call for the nationwide protest has been given by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM). As per information, farmers will hold demonstrations at administrative headquarters in every district of the country. A memorandum would be submitted to the government with a demand that Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra be removed from his post.
The protest would be supported by all farmer groups associated with the movement against the three farm laws. Through the memorandum, the protesters would also appeal once again that these laws be withdrawn.
